Senko Fishing The Shore Of Wampatuck
Headed out around 3:30 P.M. today to test my luck fishing from the shore of Wampatuck Pond (Otherwise known as the Town Hall Pond). Bites were consistent from about 4:00 P.M. until about 5:30 P.M. After 5:30 they just stopped altogether, minus a few pecks here and there, but no hook sets. Stuck with my main go-to as of lately, which is the Cajun Neon Yum Dinger (senko). A nice dark green with red speckles. The only rubber I've had luck using as of lately, besides the grey and black yum dinger, but those aren't anywhere near consistent.
Almost had to walk out a bit to untangle the 4.2 pounder from a bed of weeds a few feet out, but managed to untangle him without getting my shorts and shoes soaked (A risk i would have taken to get him in if need be.)
