Yesterday afternoon and evening I went down to Dudley on my jon, I recently purchases a Minnkota edge bow mount trolling motor and it makes a huge difference, even though I only caught 1 great bass and a few smaller ones, it was fun. I basically trolled around most of the lake, I tried a bit of drops jotting in the deeper waters, but no luck. My best fish 3 1/2lbr was along the west shore of the pond, most of the day I was throwing a Texas rig with a 7in Powerworm, I used more natural colors, because bright colors attracted more pickerel, and a 5/0 hook with a 3/8 bullet weight. Pretty much all around the pond is 4-12ft with a max depth of 30' I was able to have ample room on this 84 acre pond. I was there 3:30 to 9:00pm and noticed most of the bigger fish where near the shores, but if you are into catching a lot, stay I. The middle areas, this is where most of the small fish are found here. So overall I had a great day here, even if it is windy, there is a lot of protective areas and there is also plenty of sand bars and rock palings near the shores to fish. If you are looking for a small new spot to take your kayak, canoe or small boat, I belive this is the perfect spot, because it's diverseity.

Me and my Bud took our Jon boats out on Dudley Friday, Saturday and Briefly on Sunday, we caught some amazing fish, I caught a 5lber on a rapala x rap and he caught a 4lber on a rapala jointed, other than that we caught 20 pickrel each and about 5 smaller bass each, its best in the afternoon to dusk. Its definitely a great spot if you have beginner anglers, because they are sure to catch a fish!

Saturday Morning I went kayaking at Dudley pond, it's was a good day, 4 Crappie, 10 Pickrel and only one bass. IT was a small guy. I did see some 5 - 7lbs when I was standing up in my Kayak, there are some large ones there, but its a bit to early for them to go at em, I think if you waited a week or two you could score big there, my tip there is to fish along the shallows and fish in coves, best fishing there and there are a lot of beds there to fish!

Hi, Im not a handyman or anything, im 15 years old and into fishing, I bought this old 63 12' jon of craigslist the other week, and I cannot get the old paint off easy at all, I am using a 2 amp black and decker with 80, I was going to go lower but a lot of people recommended I did not, I need some advice from some of you guys, it would really help. Is there any solutions that will remove it? I already sanded about 4x4 section of it, but that took well over 4 hours. Here are some pictures.

Great day fishing with a friend, caught about 7 Pickrel in 3 hours, nothing else, I heard of people pulling out some good sized bass near the center, but me and friend headed out by the Chateau (Restaurant in the pond) in about 6 - 9 feet of water, caught a big one, about 2lbs and 17 inches, had a lot of fun and if you are looking for a good place to take thew kids, here is the place, always thick ice and good fishin!
