We out this morning with Brenden and Denny to lake BOONE, parked at Jeffs house and walked out about 60 yards and started drill holes. First flag went up pretty quick, then nothing for about 15 minutes, Denny had one go up and he had the bright idea to move our holes, BEST idea this kids had all week. We had to of had 30 flags for a total of over 15 fish. Good morning of fishing with the boys we only had until noon but we still got in 4 solid hours of ice time. Brenden is a way better cook than Denny, had a few burgs on the grill and a couple of pops. By the way I did catch the 3 biggest, biggest one was 2.5ISH

Well we started off at 5:30 this morning, Skeg dragged my yard as we pulled out and lost one of the bolts holding the chrome skeg on, didnt notice that until we stopped at DD, so back to the house for a bolt and we are off again. Get to the BOONE and notice after boat is in the water we are out of gas, back to get the trailer and off to get gas! So now that we got everything in order we start at 7, Denny catches two like guys right away on the way out to the main lake, we fish our spots and not alot really happening until about 9:30,we have been fishing in 6-10 feet with not much luck, but we see fish on the finders at 2 feet all morning, so the light goes off lets fish 2 feet! Where the police boat is docked we fish that wall. Yep you guess it I hook into a BIG BOY, I worked him pertty well he came up a few times got close to the boat Denny had the net and he turns to make one last run and SNAP goes the line! After many deep breaths I get my s*** back together and said well I guess their at 2 feet, not even 5 minutes later another BIG BOY, thought for sure it was the same fish and was happy that I was getting my hook back, after really working this one for over a minute I got him to the boat and under he goes, I work him back out and under he goes this happened 3 times I was sure I was going to lose another one, but Denny came threw in the end! After that we only caught a few more dinks but was nice to be out again.

Met Chuck at his house around 3pm loaded up and off we went to POND X. Rain was due to come in later on that afternoon but that didn't stop us. After about 2 minutes at the first spot we had 3 at the boat but where little and fell of! So we went alittle further down the shore line and we start hitting them one after another, all just about 12 inches, we threw spinner baits and jigs, all at wood and rock pile Rain started up alittle and bite fell off. So we relocated to another spot caught a few more dinks. Rain started up again so we moved to another spot, I thew my spinner bait at some muck and missed it as soon as it hit the water! Chuck said" keep throwing it up there" next cast 3lber! A few minutes later same area Chuck pulls in 2.7lber move alittle I pull in a nice 2 lber. All in all we got wet but caught 20 fish in total. Was nice to finally be on POND X

OUR NEW HONEY HOLE, on the water at 430 am off by 1030 caught over 20 fish many 3's four 4pounders and the new boat record at 5.7 by Denny, all on jigs and a few on weightless worms at 7 ft deep. AWESOME DAY

First trip out in "old mac" in years. Denny and I went out a little after 1pm. We used someone else's trolling motor because ours died, battery didnt charge so we used our battery packs, boat leaked so we found some putty in Denny's truck. Started off on the wrong foot but soon changed. The list of things we had to over come was UNREAL, I think most would of turned around but WE are sick. We trolled across the pond to a bridge and I was throwing a jerk bait Denny was using a spinner bait. After 3 min. I had a nice little one in the boat, Denny changed up to jerk bait soon after. We went back across the pond to another cove and Denny noticed some bait fish. And oh my god did it ever turn around, at one point I had 6 casts and 6 fish in a row! Then Denny and I where reeling them in 2 at a time. For a TOTAL of 24! we finished until 5pm. We didnt catch anything huge but a lot of little guys. Was fun to be back out catchn fish.
