Haven't posted any trips lately, so i'll make one post with all my bass from several area ponds, such as Spy Pond, Fellsmere Pond, and Spot Pond.

Edit: Fixed a bunch of the broken pics. All the pics should be working fine now.

Hit up spy pond, did very well. Put some back without taking pics, because they were pretty small. All the fish were caught on a brown KVD ocho worm.

Day started extremely slow. Fished by turtle rock, couldn't get a fish to save my life. Then I was heading to Straw point, met up with my buddy Larry, he came to Straw with me. So we fish there for a little bit, nothing. Then I go to meet up with bassmonkey21 and towelie over on the rocks by the Memorial. Fish there for a bit, then I move into the cove to the right of there. THATS when things heat up, 3 casts in, and I hooked into the biggest bass of my life. I messed up and didn't get to weigh it, but i DID get some pics with it! (thank god) It was EASILY 9+ pounds, but i'm going to call it 10lbs.

Got out on my yak at about 12:00 today. Started at Spy pond, paddled to the back side of the island, and fished the reeds by the 2nd playground. Did pretty well, nothing huge but pretty consistent hits. Seen some huge turtles mating, then left spy around 4:30. Headed up to Quarter Mile Pond, git there at about 5:15, in the water by 5:25. Got one small bass and 2 small pickerel. After i noticed how bad my sunburn was, i decided to call it a day at about 6:45. All in all, it was a good day.

Finally! MY first lunker of 2011! Went out at about 10:00, hooked into a small bass by about 10:30 on a 4" Yum watermelon worm. By about 11:00, I hooked into this 4-5 pound female. What a fight she put up. Got her on an inline spinner. After that i got a small pickerel, which, lets say, set itself free. At that point, i didn't care, I was happy with the lunker!

Like usual, instead of working over time, I left work on time to go fish. I finally figured out where Turtle Rock was, so I figured i'd head over there and see if I couldn't get a LM or SM. Started throwing a white spinner, felt a tap, set the hook, ended up being a Rainbow. 12 inches, ~1lb. About 5 mins later I feel the trademark tap-tap of a bass, set the hook, but he had already spit it out. Didn't stay too long, only about an hour and a half. I'm content though, seeing as it was my first rainbow trout of the season. Catching up to my Fiancee's 3 rainbows.

So me and my Fiancee hit Walden Pond at about 6AM. First trout on (for her) at about 6:15, second fish on (again, for her) about 6:20. Then the trout stopped biting. Left there about 8AM, went home and took a nap. Headed back out for the afternoon around 1:30. Went to Griswold pond in Saugus. No one was catching a thing there, so i switched over to a roostertail and started throwing into some trees, got a little LM bass ~16 inches long. My fiancee and I were satisfied, for today atleast.

Rough day on the water. Tons of wind, managed to get a sunfish (lol) and 2 small LMs. No trout, even though they stocked it last week.

Got there around 10:30. Started setting my girlfriends rods up, it was her first fishing trip where she actually fished. I took my kayak along. Figured i'd let her shore fish while i go out on the kayak and catch all the fish. Wrong. About 30 mins after I get her set up and get out on my kayak, i get a phone call "Babe, I got one". Ended up sitting on the shore with her fishing for the rest of the time. We left at about 2:30. Plenty of people were catching rainbows, not me though.
